- Identity verification details — Social Security number, date of birth, and government-issued ID, which credit bureaus require to process disputes on your behalf.
- Credit information — your credit reports, scores, account histories, and documents you share with us.
- Website usage — basic technical data such as browser type, device, and pages visited. The score calculator runs entirely in your browser; values you enter there are not stored or sent to us.

- To submit disputes to Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, and your creditors on your behalf.
- To communicate with you about your account and progress.
- To process payments for services performed.
- To comply with legal obligations, including the federal Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA).
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide our services:
- With credit bureaus, creditors, and collection agencies when disputing items you authorize.
- With trusted service providers (such as the secure software provider that powers our Secure Client Access portal and sign-up form; CreditHero Score for credit reports and monitoring; and payment processors) who are contractually required to protect it.
- When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.
How we protect your information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Safeguards Rule, including encryption in transit, access controls limited to staff who need it, and secure storage within our client portal. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices.
Communications and your consent
If you sign up, you agree that we may contact you by email, text, or phone about your account and services. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to texts or using the unsubscribe link in emails. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as you are a client and afterward only as long as needed to meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements, then securely delete or destroy it.
Your choices and rights
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
